Welcome to the Fire Prevention Division. The Division operates under the Evesham Fire District and is overseen by Fire Marshal David Knott. Responsibilities of the Division include administration of the fire district budget, fire safety inspections and fire code enforcement, fire investigation and fire prevention and public education programs.

Deputy Chief David Knott is the supervisor in charge of the Fire Prevention Division. In addition, he maintains the position of Township Fire Marshal/Fire Official and Fire Sub Code Official. His responsibilities include plan reviews, under the requirements of the Uniform Construction Code, in addition to coordinating and performing Uniform Construction Code Inspections. Additional duties include enforcement of the Uniform Fire Code, and conducting fire investigations.
