On Wednesday March 17th, Task Force 362, Engine 221 and Engine 135 were dispatched to the area of 7000 Commerce Parkway for a building fire. Responding units could see a large column of smoke from a distance. Engine 2211 arrived with Chief 3603 to find a one story warehouse approx. 80 X 450 with heavy fire from the roof. 2211 established a water supply and stretched a 2.5 inch hose line to the interior and a 5 inch supply line to Ladder 3635. Engine 2211 crew forced entry into suites and checked above ceiling for active fire. Crew found active fire above ceiling in Suite A. A line was stretched from Ladder 3635 to this unit and fire extinguished. Mount Laurel FD and Cherry Hill FD handled roof operations with master streams. The bulk of fire held to the roof. No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation by the Mount Laurel Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office.
